Mason Worker Names More Than 150 Defendants in Recent Benzene Lawsuit

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. -- An Illinois couple have filed a benzene complaint contending that more than 150 defendants are liable for a mason worker's acute myelogenous leukemia. Rose, et al. v. Air Products and Chemical, et al., No. 04-L-901 (Ill. 3rd Jud. Cir. Ct., Madison Cty.).
The complaint was filed recently in the Illinois 3rd Judicial Circuit Court for Madison County asserts that the defendants included benzene in their products, despite knowledge of hazards associated with inhaling, or otherwise absoring, benzene.
