OAKLAND, Calif. -- A jury has found that while Chevron failed to adequately warn of possible health risks associated with benzene exposure, those failures were not ultimately the cause of a plaintiff's non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Hooper v. Bridgestone/Firestone Inc., et al., No. RG04171297 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
The Alameda County Superior Court jury reached the special verdict on Aug. 15, after more than a month of trial and two days of deliberations.
