Judge Rules on Several In Limine Motions in Ongoing Benzene Trial




OAKLAND, Calif. -- A judge overseeing an ongoing benzene trial has denied several in limine motions which sought the preclusion of several plaintiff expert witnesses. Hooper v. Bridgestone/Firestone Inc., et al., No. RG04171297 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

Judge Robert Freedman of the California Superior Court for Alameda County on July 14 denied the majority of defendant Chevron U.S.A. Inc's in limine motions. A jury began hearing the claims of Dale Hooper on June 29, sources told HarrisMartin.
