Claims Set for Upcoming Trial Voluntarily Dismissed with Right to Re-file




CHICAGO -- A benzene lawsuit that was set to be tried in July has been voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiffs, with a right to re-file. Lebron, et al. v. Shell Oil, et al., No. 2000-L-010021 (Ill. Cir. Ct., Cook Cty.).

According to the Illinois Circuit Court for Cook County docket, the claims of Michael and Pamela Lebron were voluntarily dismissed on June 20.

Sources told HarrisMartin that Michael Lebron has developed an additional tumor in his liver and that Illinois allows one dismissal with the right to re-file.
