CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Plaintiffs in West Virginia have claimed that they were wrongfully exposed to aromatic hydrocarbons after defendant employers failed to provide adequate ventilation and protective equipment. Hoffman, et al. v. Monsanto, et al., No. 05-418 (S.D. W. Va.).
Defendants Monsanto Co. and Pharmacia Corp. removed the lawsuit from the Kanawha County Circuit Court to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia on May 19.
