La. Court Grants Unopposed Motions for Summary Judgment in Benzene AML Case

NEW ORLEANS –– A Louisiana federal court has granted unopposed motions for summary judgment in a benzene exposure case, finding that the plaintiff had failed to provide evidence that her late husband’s cancer was the result of benzene exposure.

The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana noted in the Oct. 5 order that the plaintiffs did not respond to the motions for summary judgment.
