Neb. Court Declines Efforts by 2 Benzene Plaintiffs to Amend Deemed Admissions

OMAHA, Neb. –– A Nebraska federal court has denied efforts by two benzene plaintiffs to amend their deemed admissions, noting it has “repeatedly” advised counsel for the plaintiffs in the cases that they must be “litigated in a timely fashion.”

In a pair of Oct. 9 orders, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska found that the deemed admission in the case only provide a “cursory argument and no supporting evidence.”
