BALTIMORE –– Parties in a Maryland benzene case have jointly requested the continuance of an upcoming settlement conference, saying that, since other deadlines have been postponed, the scheduled Sept. 10 settlement conference would likely not be productive at this time.

In the Aug. 26 request filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, the parties noted that the court had previously extended all other deadlines in the case by 60 days.
