Defendant Named in Butter Flavorings Suits Says Complaints Lack Specificity Despite Repeated Amendments

FLORENCE, S.C. –– A defendant named in three butter flavorings exposure lawsuits has moved to dismiss the complaints, saying that, despite amending the lawsuits two times, the claims still lack “any specificity.”

In separate, but nearly identical, filings on June 19 in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, defendant Kerry Inc. maintained that the plaintiffs had failed to give the company “fair notice” of what the claim is and the grounds upon which it rests.
