C-8 MDL Court Selects 6 Cases for First Joint Trial Group, Says Trial Will Take Place in June 2020

COLUMBUS, Ohio –– The federal court overseeing the national multidistrict litigation docket for C-8 water contamination claims has scheduled six trials for the first joint trial group to go before a jury in the wake of a global settlement reached more than two years ago.

According to a pretrial order filed June 18, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio selected three cases from the plaintiffs’ proposal and three cases from the defendant’s proposal, slating the cases for trial in the defendant’s proposed date, June 2020.
