PHILADELPHIA –– The Pep Boys –– Manny, Moe & Jack have filed several in limine motions in preparation for trial in a benzene lawsuit pending in Pennsylvania state court, seeking in part to preclude evidence relating to punitive damages.

In a Feb. 21 brief filed in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, defendant The Pep Boys argued that the plaintiff purchased brake cleaner from it at “a fraction of the amount of his overall exposure.”
