BUFFALO, N.Y. –– Plaintiffs in a ortho-toluidine exposure action have filed a brief in an ongoing dispute over the production of deposition testimony and expert reports, arguing in part that documents sought by the defendants are “beyond the scope of permissible discovery.”

In a Jan. 10 memorandum of law filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, the plaintiffs opposed a motion to compel expert reports of its retained environmental health sciences expert Adam M. Finkel, saying the doctor will not offer opinions regarding general or specific causation.
