COLUMBUS, Ohio –– Another lawsuit alleging injury from exposure to C-8 in water has been filed in the wake of a global settlement reached in the national multidistrict litigation docket, with the plaintiff alleging that he developed kidney cancer as a result of exposure to the contaminants.
In the Oct. 30 complaint filed in the U.S District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, Powell said that DuPont owned and operated a manufacturing facility in Wood County, West Virginia known as the “Washington Works Plant” until at least 2015.
