PHILADELPHIA –– Plaintiffs in a benzene lawsuit pending in Pennsylvania state court have filed their second motion for reconsideration of an order granting motions for summary judgment from three defendants, saying that a recent decision “provides additional precedent for the Court’s consideration.”

In the Oct. 12 motion filed in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas for Philadelphia County, the plaintiffs said that after the court denied its recent motion for reconsideration, the Pennsylvania Superior Court confirmed that “consent to general personal jurisdiction through a corporation’s registration to do business in Pennsylvania remains a viable basis for exercising general personal jurisdiction …
