Utah Court Rejects Challenges to Testimony of Infante in Benzene Exposure Suit

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –– A Utah federal court has refused to exclude the testimony of Dr. Peter Infante in a benzene exposure case, concluding that the literature in the matter was not so one-sided that the experts conclusion was “patently unsupported by the data.”

In the Oct. 22 opinion, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah wrote that the experts proffered by the plaintiff in support of his claims have “reasoned criticisms of various studies.”
