BUFFALO, N.Y. –– A New York federal court has extended expert discovery in a chemical exposure lawsuit, days after the parties exchanged letters regarding the scheduling of plaintiff expert depositions, with the plaintiff arguing that the defendants have “failed to exercise any diligence in scheduling the depositions of the Plaintiffs’ experts.”
In an Oct. 12 letter filed with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, defendants First Chemical Corp., and E.I. Dupont De Nemours and Co. asked the court to schedule a status conference, seeking guidance on the issue of scheduling plaintiffs’ expert witness depositions.
