Consolidated Nationwide Docket Sought for PFOA and PFOS Foam Lawsuits

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Tyco Fire Products and Chemguard have moved for transfer and consolidation of all federal lawsuits alleging injury and environmental contamination caused by PFOS- and PFOA-containing foams.
The petition, which was filed Sept. 25 with the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, asks the panel to create a coordinated MDL docket in either Massachusetts or New York for the 75 “Aqueous Film-Forming Foams” cases filed so far nationwide.
