Monsanto Attacks Weisenburger’s Testimony, Says Expert Changed His Opinion on Latency Period

SAN FRANCISCO –– Monsanto has filed a supplemental brief regarding epidemiological evidence testimony in the national coordinated multidistrict docket for Roundup personal injury claims, saying the plaintiffs’ expert in question has “changed his opinions in outcome-orientated ways to try to support plaintiffs’ general causation arguments.”

In a pretrial order issued June 19, the MDL Court had asked for supplemental briefing from Monsanto “identifying any critiques it has of Dr. Dennis Weisenburger’s testimony regarding the epidemiological evidence that it has not already leveled against Dr. Ritz or Dr. Portier.”
