New Complaints Filed in Louisiana State Court, Say Benzene Caused Number of Cancers




NEW ORLEANS –– At least eight new benzene-related complaints have been filed in recent weeks in Louisiana state court with the plaintiffs asserting that they developed a number of illnesses as a result of exposure to benzene, including multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The complaints were filed in the Louisiana Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans.
