New Complaint Filed in N.Y. Federal Court Says Defendants Failed to Warn About Chemical Ortho-Toluidine

BUFFALO, N.Y. –– A number of defendants, including DuPont, failed to warn and adequately protect a Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. worker from exposure to the chemical ortho-toluidine, causing him to develop bladder cancer, according to a recently filed complaint.

In the July 14 complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, the plaintiffs argued that the defendants’ failure to provide warnings regarding the carcinogenicity of the chemical caused him to develop his injury.
