Calif. Court Requests Supplemental Briefing on FIFRA Violations in Roundup MDL

SAN FRANCISCO –– A California court designated to oversee the national coordinated docket for Roundup personal injury claims has overseen a hearing on a motion to remand involving FIFRA preemption, just days after it asked the plaintiffs to file supplemental briefing on those alleged violations.

In a June 9 order, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California asked that the plaintiffs to submit the briefing by June 12 and added that while additional briefing from Monsanto was not required, it would have been accepted up to June 13.
