Benzene Plaintiff Reaches Settlement with Lone Remaining Defendant, Berryman Products

BOSTON –– A benzene plaintiff has reached a settlement agreement with the lone remaining defendant in the case, according to status reports filed by both parties in Massachusetts federal court.

According to separate May 22 status reports filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, a settlement amount was agreed to between the plaintiff and the lone remaining defendant, Berryman Products, in March 2016 and the whole settlement amount was delivered in December 2016.

In its status report filed the same day, the plaintiff noted that he had settled the underlying claims with all defendants.
