Roundup MDL Judge Schedules ‘Science Day,’ Says Proceedings Will Not be Part of the Record

SAN FRANCISCO –– The federal court overseeing the national coordinated multidistrict litigation docket for Roundup personal injury claims has scheduled a “Science Day” for Feb. 27, saying that it will offer an “informal overview of the basic science underpinning the parties’ dispute.”

In Pretrial Order No. 9, entered Feb. 2, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California noted actions from the Jan. 27 case management conference, saying that it had denied a motion to seal portions of a case management statement and a request for an order limiting the form of Monsanto’s deposition objections.
