OKLAHOMA CITY –– Defendants named in two Oklahoma benzene suits have removed the actions to federal court, saying that the lone remaining non-diverse defendant named in the action have been voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiffs.
The defendants removed the pair of complaints to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma on Sept. 1.
In her original complaint, filed in November 2015 in the District Court of Oklahoma County, Mary Rozotto asserted the claims on behalf of Miguel Rozotto Jr., contending that the decedent was exposed to benzene and benzene-containing products while working at the Dayton Tire plant …
