Plaintiffs Set to Take Deposition of BP Corporation CEO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Plaintiffs with benzene claims set to be tried in August are scheduled to take the deposition of BP Corporation North America Inc. CEO John Browne on July 28. Ryan, et al. v. BP Corp., et al., No. 04-223271 (Mo. Cir. Ct., Jackson Cty.).

The notice of deposition was filed July 8 in the Missouri Circuit Court for Jackson County by plaintiffs Nancy and Leonard Ryan. The Ryans are slated to be the first in a series of 20 benzene trial settings, scheduled to begin August 22.
