CLEVELAND –– Parties involved in the second bellwether case to proceed to trial in the national coordinated docket for C-8 personal injury claims have exchanged briefing on DuPont’s motion for judgment as a matter of law, in which the defendant maintained that the plaintiff failed to present sufficient evidence to satisfy the requirements of Ohio law for a claim of negligence or an award of punitive damages.
