14 Plaintiffs Allege Benzene Exposure at Georgia-Pacific Facility

HAMBURG, Ark. -- In a recently filed lawsuit, 14 former Georgia-Pacific workers have alleged various injuries they claim were all caused by exposure to aromatic hydrocarbons, including benzene. Curry, et al. v. Aervoe Industries, et al., No. 05-1303 (Ark. Cir. Ct., Ashley Cty.).
Sources said the plaintiffs filing the May 31 complaint in the Arkansas Circuit Court for Ashley County will ask to have their claims consolidated with Skender v. Ameron International Corp., (No. 03-259-3), which was filed in the same court in 2003.
