MINNEAPOLIS –– U.S. Steel Corp. has reached a settlement agreement with claims brought by a former automotive mechanic and hobbyist who said that his work with benzene-containing products, including Liquid Wrench caused him to develop MDS.

According to a June 3 letter written to the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the defendant “resolve the claims asserted against it” and plans to file dismissal documents with the court “in the near future.”
