Calif. Jurors Reach Defense Verdict for Van Son Holland at Conclusion of Printer’s Benzene Trial

LOS ANGELES –– A California jury has reached a defense verdict for Van Son Holland Ink Corp. at the conclusion of a benzene trial, rejecting a former printer’s claims that years of exposure to benzene-containing inks and pressroom chemicals caused him to develop AML, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting.
The California Superior Court for Los Angeles County jury reached the verdict just moments ago, sources confirmed to HarrisMartin Publishing. Judge Cary H. Nishimoto presided over the trial, which began on May 11 with jury selection; jurors received the case yesterday.
