DAVENPORT, Iowa –– The parties involved in a benzene case that ended in a $3.5 million verdict have filed post-trial motions, with the plaintiffs seeking pre- and post-judgment interest and the defendants asking the court to award the plaintiffs nothing or grant their motion for judgment as a matter of law on punitive damages.

The briefs were filed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa on April 19.
