6th Circuit Issues Briefing Schedule in Appeal of $1.6 Million C-8 Exposure Verdict

CINCINNATI –– The 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has issued the briefing schedule in the appeal of a C-8 exposure personal injury case that ended in a $1.6 million verdict, allowing the defendants until June 13 to file their brief.
In the April 29 order, the 6th Circuit also said the plaintiff –– who contended that she developed kidney cancer as a result of exposure to perfluorooctanoic acide (PFOA) and ammonium perfluorooctanoate (C-8) –– will have until July 14 to file a response.
