Calif. Judge Issues Pretrial Rulings in Benzene Case Brought by Former Printer

LOS ANGELES –– The trial judge overseeing a benzene case brought by a former printer has issued pretrial orders, in part determining that successor liability does, in fact, apply to lone remaining defendant Van Son Holland Ink Corporation of America and, further, that the claims are not time-barred.
Sources told HarrisMartin that the parties in the case –– pending in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County –– are expected to pick a jury next week.
