Benzene Defendant Moves for Sanctions, Says Plaintiffs Haven’t Complied with Discovery Requests

PHILADELPHIA –– A defendant named in a benzene suit has filed a motion for sanctions, saying that the plaintiff has failed to respond to interrogatories and requests for production, despite having been previously ordered by the court to do so.

In the April 4 motion filed in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas, defendant Berkebile Oil Co. Inc. accused the plaintiff of “continually and consistently shirked their duties under the requirements established by this Court.”
