Calif. Supreme Court Schedules Oral Arguments in Component Parts Dispute




SAN FRANCISCO –– The California Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments in the appeal of an intermediate appellate court order which held that the component parts doctrine does not shield a supplier from liability where a plaintiff allegedly suffered a direct injury from using the product as intended.

In an April 1 docket entry, the state high court said it will hear arguments relating to the matter on May 4 at 9:00 a.m.
