LOS ANGELES –– Two new Roundup complaints have been filed against Monsanto in California, with both plaintiffs maintaining that they developed non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma as a result of exposure to glyphosate in the herbicide.
Both complaints were filed in the last few weeks in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
The plaintiffs alleged that Monsanto Company Inc. used glyphosate in its herbicide Roundup; it became the most-used active ingredient in agriculture by 2001, the plaintiffs asserted.
