N.Y. Federal Court Consolidates 2 Class Action Suits Involving PFOA Contamination in Drinking Water

ALBANY, N.Y. –– A New York federal court has consolidated two class action lawsuits, saying that the majority of the claims –– relating to alleged PFOA contamination in drinking water –– overlap and that there is no inherent conflict between the named plaintiffs in either action.

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York issued the consolidation order on March 18, one week after the second of the two class action suits was filed.
