Parties in Louisiana Benzene Case Involving Liquid Wrench Reach Settlement Agreement

BATON ROUGE, La. –– The remaining parties involved in a case brought by a former millwright for injuries he allegedly sustained as a result of using the benzene-containing Liquid Wrench have reached a settlement agreement, according to a recent court order.

In the Jan. 20 order, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana indicated that it had been informed that the parties had “been settled as to all parties.”

As such, the court dismissed the case without prejudice with an allowance to reopen the proceedings should the settlement not be finalized within 60 days.
