La. Court Excludes Plaintiff Expert Testimony in Benzene Case, Says Cited Studies Don’t Isolate Benzene

NEW ORLEANS –– A Louisiana federal court has excluded the testimony of three plaintiff experts in a benzene case, finding in part that some of the studies cited by an expert focus on solvents or organic solvents as a class instead of the specific studies to which the plaintiff alleged exposure.
