Former Automotive Worker Files Benzene Complaint in Minnesota Federal Court

MINNEAPOLIS –– A Minnesota resident has filed a benzene exposure lawsuit in federal court, contending that his work in the automotive industry required him to work with benzene-containing automotive solvent products.
The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on Jan. 15.
Plaintiff Leonard Samuelson alleges that his work as an automotive mechanic and hobbyist for more than 50 years required him to work with benzene-containing solvents, including Liquid Wrench, Berryman B-12 Chemtool Carburetor, Choke, and Throttle Body Cleaner and Berryman Brake Parts Cleaner.
