DAVENPORT, Iowa –– Plaintiffs with claims pending in an Iowa benzene case have moved the court to award summary judgment on general causation, arguing that it is undisputed that benzene can cause acute myeloid leukemia.
In the Nov. 2 motion for partial summary judgment filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa maintained that there is no genuine issue of material fact as to general causation.
