Iowa Court Dismisses Benzene Complaint Against 2 Defendants with Prejudice, Cites Pleading Deficiencies

DAVENPORT, Iowa –– An Iowa federal court has dismissed a benzene plaintiffs’ third amended complaint against CF Industries Holdings Inc. and CF Industries Sales LLC, agreeing with the defendants that the plaintiffs have failed to address the deficiencies in her previous pleadings.

In the Oct. 5 order, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa dismissed the benzene complaint with prejudice, concluding that it has made “no additional allegations against CFI or CF Industries Sales LLC.”
