LOS ANGELES –– A California trial court has excluded the testimony of two plaintiff experts in a soil contamination suit, finding that the experts had failed to offer admissible testimony that would establish that toxic chemicals migrated through soil, air, plastic and cement into the plaintiffs’ apartments.
In the Sept. 21 ruling, the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County further found that the methodology used by one of the experts raised “significant red flags.”
