SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico –– Safety-Kleen Systems Inc. has asked a Puerto Rican federal court to delay a Nov. trial date, maintaining that the request was not for the “purpose of undue delay” or “necessitated by any neglect or gamesmanship.”
In a Sept. 21 motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, Safety-Kleen cited conflicting trial dates and “other outstanding matters,” as justification for seeking the continuance.
