Parties in Upcoming C-8 Exposure Trial Exchange In Limine Motions, Other Pre-trial Motions

CLEVELAND –– The parties in a C-8 exposure case pending in the national coordinated docket have filed a number of briefs in anticipation of an upcoming trial, with the defendants seeking to apply the Ohio Tort Reform Act to the claims.

In a separate July 13 motion, E.I. DuPont de Nemours and Co. additionally asked the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio to bifurcate punitive damages.

According to a recent order, trial is scheduled for Sept. 14 in a case brought by Carla Marie Barlett.
