NEW ORLEANS –– Defendants named in a benzene suit have filed a reply brief supporting their efforts to exclude testimony from plaintiff experts, arguing in part that the plaintiff has mischaracterized the gestational age of her baby.

In a reply brief filed June 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, defendants ExxonMobil Corp. and Chalmette Refining LLC backed their motion to exclude the medical causation testimony from the plaintiffs’ experts.
