SALEM, Ore. –– An Oregon appellate court has affirmed the dismissal of benzene claims against Dynacco Inc., finding that the trial court did not err when it found the claims were untimely.
In its June 3 opinion, the Oregon Court of Appeals opined that the precedents set by the state high court “leave no room for this court to decide that plaintiff has alleged an injury to ‘person, property, or reputation’ for which the common law recognized a cause of action in 1857.”
