N.J. Wrongful Death Suit Seeks Damages for Kentucky Man’s Benzene-Related Cancer

NEWARK, N.J. — The family of a Kentucky man whose fatal cancer was allegedly caused by exposure to benzene at several printing and packaging facilities has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in New Jersey federal court.

The complaint, filed May 27 in U.S. District for the District of New Jersey, accuses Safety Kleen Inc. and Ashland Inc. of supplying benzene-containing products that were used in printing and packaging facilities where the decedent worked for nearly 25 years.
