Puerto Rico Federal Court Weighs in on In Limine, Summary Judgment Motions in Pending Benzene Case

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico –– A Puerto Rican federal court has issued an order on a number of pending in limine motions, primarily denying both plaintiff and defense efforts to preclude expert testimony from both sides.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico also denied a number of summary judgment motions from both parties in its March 31 ruling.

The underlying claims involve allegations that Gerardo Campos was exposed to benzene while using Safety-Kleen parts washers for nearly 20 years while employed at Makita, National Rental and Tool Box.
