Pennsylvania Court Outlines Expert Report Deadlines in Benzene Case

PITTSBURGH –– A Pennsylvania federal court has outlined deadlines for expert reports and subsequent challenges to those reports in a pending benzene case.

In a Jan. 23 order, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania extended previously ordered deadlines, allowing the plaintiffs until Feb. 13 to submit their expert reports.

In the same order, the judge asked that the defendants submit their expert reports by March 30. Supplements to those reports are due by April 13 and any depositions of the experts must be concluded by June 12.
