Woman Files Benzene Complaint in West Virginia Against Suppliers, Former Employer

MOUNDSVILLE, W.Va. –– A former employee of Axiall Corp. has sued her former employer as well as a number of other defendants, contending that her exposure to benzene while working at a West Virginia facility caused her to develop myelodysplastic syndrome.
In the complaint, filed late last year in the West Virginia Circuit Court for Marshall County, the plaintiff said that she was exposed to benzene-containing products over the course of 30 years.
